Would you get a gander at this (post above). Some informed soul alerted me to this new blog on the www. In the true revolutionary spirit of Mr. Thomas Pain's "common Sense" a Del Nortian "pamphleteer" is born. One who evidently is unafraid to "speak truth to power".
Need I remind you all that more than 200 years ago a relatively new and revolutionary media of mass produced pamphlets and handbills helped us to take control of our country.. Soooooo, now as then, an equally revolutionary new media of Blogs and Vlogs has arrived on the scene to help us take control of our county.This is part & parcel of our new alternate media (please note: you won't read this in our "local opinion rag") - use it, support it and make it your aid.
In truth I have to say; that while this post says a lot of what many of us have been muttering to ourselves in private, the case put forth in public is a bit light on a documental hyperlinked evidentiary level. Nonetheless, the various ideas Siskiyous has put down coherently on electronic parchment are a legitimate submission into our election year "arena of ideas". As such, they need to be carefully considered and taken into account by all of us.
The main point being; that Siskiyous' ideas may or may not be ours; but by the very act of their public statement, we (Del Nortians) are empowered with a citizens' right to review, advise and consent. We now know of them - we can investigate for ourselves their worth (I recommend that we do) , we can address them in open forums (i.e. BofS mtgs) and / or can take 'em in or throw 'em out as we judge fit to do! THANK YOU SISKIYOUS!
Well gang I hope you all make this site a regular stop on your informational highway. Exercise your first amendment rights to read, question, reply and "post" in this new arena for ideas. But don't just stop there, spread the name & address of this site around to all our fellow Del Nortians.
